Sick in Melbourne's cold winter

Ok. The weather finally got me. I've been sick for the last 3 days and THIS is what I really need. And maybe some hot chocolate. And my man- for cuddles of course.

Ohh lace. So elegant. So sophisticated. Throw on some pearls and you have yourself a classic, never goes out of style look. Team it with a blazer and pile on gold and turquoise jewellery and you've now made it oh so modern. Mix patterns and textures and you have brought it into 2011.

Sequins & Sparkles

There is just something about sparkly things that I love! They get me every time..

Maybe it's the little girl in me who was always fascinated by them and who thought ANY woman wearing ANYthing sparkly looked amazing!

Now, of course, I'm a little more selective in the type of sparkle I like, but let's be honest.. we all love a bit of it now and then don't we?

My own Michael Kors watch.. First of many?

After drooling over this watch for months and months, my gorgeous man surprised me with it. I think it was more to shut me up and stop me from continually talking about it and talking about it! Whatever the reason, it made me a very happy girl! I wear it all the time and love to layer it up with some bracelets and beads- similar as in the picture- (which I make myself)

My very first post

There are many reasons for me starting this blog. My main aim is to be able to express some of the billions of ideas that flow through my very very crowded mind!
Another reason is to share some amazing things I have come across in my many hours of time wastage and procrastination spent on the net when, really, I have so many other things I should be doing.
So, maybe in essence, this is a way for me to justify those lost hours and make them actually have a purpose.
I will be posting:

*things I wish I could afford but can't
*things I may just stretch the budget for because I just HAVE to have them
.. and yes..
*a little (tiny) bit of wedding stuff. (Wedding stuff will only be featured as the preperation and ideas are around for my OWN wedding and I'd love to share some of the things I find with you all.)
